My approach is built on several closely interconnected theses. The viewer matters to me, and I love my work. It is hard for me to imagine my paintings on the snow-white, sterile walls of a gallery. I paint to bring a little warmth and joy in the way I know how. I paint what I would gladly keep in my bedroom.

I strive to free my paintings from context, which means I am left with only the basic means of expression. I want to communicate directly with any viewer. And I am immensely interested in improving along this path.

I paint curiosity, friendship, playfulness, tenderness, and every time I want to shelter and wrap these fragile moments in warm buds.
